Position Overview

The Knowledge Base Manager will be responsible for curating, managing, and enhancing our knowledge base across multiple platforms. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that our knowledge base remains up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with the needs of our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the knowledge base strategy, ensuring it supports organizational goals and end-user needs.
  • Conduct regular audits of the existing knowledge base content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and comprehensiveness.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, customer support, and product teams to gather and synthesize information for new documentation.
  • Create, edit, and review articles, FAQs, and onboarding materials to ensure clarity, usability, and alignment with branding guidelines.
  • Design and implement a content management system that streamlines the process of creating, updating, and archiving knowledge base articles.
  • Analyze user feedback and usage data to continuously improve the knowledge base experience and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices for knowledge management and documentation standards.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in knowledge management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in knowledge management, content creation, or technical writing, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Strong understanding of knowledge management systems and content management software.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data to drive improvements.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and user experience design is a plus.
