Position Overview

The jr machinist will work alongside our experienced team of machinists to learn and execute various machining processes. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their technical skills in machining, operation of CNC machines, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of CNC machines, including lathes and mills.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand machining specifications.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
• Participate in equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Receive training on new machinery and technologies as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training in machining is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of machining tools and processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
