About Us

Jeevika, a project initiated by the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), aims to reduce poverty by promoting self-sustainable livelihood activities among the rural poor. We leverage community-driven approaches and technology to improve the efficiency of our programs.

Job Summary

The Computer Operator will be responsible for maintaining and managing digital data related to various Jeevika initiatives. They will ensure that all information systems are running effectively while providing technical support to the team. A strong background in computer operations and data management is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Input, update, and maintain data related to Jeevika activities and beneficiaries.
• Generate reports and analyze data to help in decision-making processes.
• Assist with the implementation of digital tools and software for better management.
• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues encountered by team members.
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
• Train staff in data entry procedures and software usage as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to support project goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data entry and management, ideally within a development context.
• Strong knowledge of data management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of local dialects is an added advantage.
