The Role

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will play an integral role in supporting the management of project costs from inception to completion. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals in the field. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Conducting site visits to monitor progress and costs.
• Learning to analyze tender documents and prepare bid proposals.
• Supporting in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and changes on-site.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly cost reports and forecasts.
• Working closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure the project aligns with budgetary constraints.
• Learning to utilize industry-standard software tools for cost management and reporting.

Who We Are Looking For

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with cost management software is a plus.
