Position Overview

As a Field Machining Specialist, you will be responsible for performing machining operations on-site at our clients’ facilities. This role will require you to work collaboratively with other team members, while also being self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate field machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, and welders.
• Perform machining tasks such as cutting, grinding, and shaping materials to meet exact specifications.
• Evaluate and assess the condition of machinery and perform maintenance as necessary.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in all machining tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all work performed.
• Document work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machining or a related field.
• Proficiency in operating a range of machining equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
