Job Overview
As an Insurance Surveyor, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing insurance claims in accordance with established guidelines and industry standards. Your insights will assist in determining the validity, value, and compensation of claims, ensuring a fair and transparent process for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate insurance claims by conducting site surveys and gathering pertinent evidence.
- Evaluate damages and assess the values of claims related to property and casualty losses.
- Consult with policyholders, claimants, and relevant stakeholders to gather required information.
- Prepare detailed reports of findings and evaluations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments and external parties to facilitate the claims process.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to enhance effectiveness and compliance.
- Provide customer support and clarity to clients throughout the claims process.
Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in claims assessment or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex information accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with claims assessment software.
