Job Responsibilities

As a day care assistant, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Supervising children during playtime, activities, and meals.
• Assisting with daily routines, including nap time and snack preparation.
• Creating engaging activities that promote social interaction and learning.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children and staff.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff.
• Reporting any concerns about a child’s development or behavior to the head teacher.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, reliable, and have a genuine love for working with children. We welcome applicants who meet the following criteria:

• Must be 15 years old or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive atmosphere.
• Previous experience working with children (such as babysitting, volunteering, or tutoring) is a plus, but not required.
• Availability during our peak hours (8 AM – 6 PM, Monday to Friday).

Training and Certification

All selected candidates will undergo a comprehensive training program to prepare you for your role in the day care. Topics will include:

• Child safety protocols
• First aid and CPR training (services provided free of charge)
• Effective communication with children and parents
• Activity planning and implementation
