Key Responsibilities

As a SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring security systems and networks to detect suspicious activities. Your role will include:

• Monitoring security alerts and investigation of potential threats in real-time.
• Analyzing security incidents and providing detailed reports.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and recommending improvements.
• Collaborating with other IT departments to implement security measures.
• Staying up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Participating in incident response efforts and contributing to incident response plans.
• Providing support for security tools and processes.

Qualifications

To be successful as a SOC Analyst in our team, you will need the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a security operations center or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and compliance regulations.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
