Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate vet nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a love for animals, and the ability to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in performing examinations and surgeries.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed.
• Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, including feeding, bathing, and exercising.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about treatment plans and care instructions.
• Assist with the education of pet owners regarding preventative care and wellness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic.
• Participate in clinic’s continuous education and training programs.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary practice (preferred).
• Strong understanding of veterinary procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to animal care.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
