Position: Lifeguard

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic lifeguards to join our team this summer! As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all patrons at our aquatic facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the safety and behavior of swimmers to prevent accidents.
• Rescue swimmers in distress, performing first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering any questions patrons may have.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool and surrounding areas.
• Prepare and submit reports on incidents or safety concerns as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old (some locations may require 18+).
• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA).
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid are required.
• Strong swimming skills; must be able to swim a minimum of 300 yards continuously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
